Latest new member of staff at Holy Well Glass!
Welcome to Dan Hearn, our latest recruit. He comes well equipped with skills in the field. To date he has over five years’ experience working in a family run team of glaziers in St. Albans as well as working for a time with solo glass artist Christian Ryan. He has spent the last two years gaining his HND qualification in Architectural Stained Glass at Swansea Institute of Higher Education. During his time there he experimented with devising abstract alternatives to traditional obscured double glazing materials, using contemporary stained glass artists such as Brian Clarke and Jochem Poensgen as his inspiration. Below are examples of his obscured glass technique.
