Tom and Shane complete their apprenticeship!
We would like to say a big well done to two members of staff, Tom Courtiour and Shane Toomey, who have successfully completed The Worshipful Company of Glaziers’ Apprenticeship in Stained Glass Practice. This 3 year course is specifically tailored to equip the apprentice with a mix of practical and academic skills through a wide range of modules. These include looking at glass as a material, glass processes, the history and context of stained glass, studio practice, conservation practice, and ethical awareness.
They were presented with their well-deserved certificates during a ceremony at the Plaisterers Guild, London, on 2nd October 2017. They can be seen in the picture below, forth and fifth from the right, in the second row:-
